A close up look at foil blocking lets you see that it’s not just the gloss and shine of the foil that gives it that special appeal – there’s also the subtle indentation created by the plate as it presses the foil into the card – almost like a debossed finish – that adds depth to the finish. These simple and elegant tags were digitally printed for Woodgreen Furniture & Interiors with that extra touch of gold to finish.

We have to admit it – we get a little bit of a thrill when a customer mentions foil blocking! It’s one of our absolute favourite special finishes, and nothing quite compares to its high gloss impact. High end male groomer Laird Law was looking for that special finish for his business cards and foil was the perfect accent to his luxurious double thick cards. Also pictured are a gift voucher – carefully designed to tie in with Laird’s brand – and a beautiful gift box with foil blocked logo.

We love our double thick business cards here – and it’s a great option for customers who want a real feel of weight and luxury. For the Castle Kitchen and Bar, based at Galgorm Castle Golf Course, we bonded white and black card stocks together and then debossed the Castle Kitchen logo on the black side for an extra touch of elegance.
