Space – the final frontier!

Space – the final frontier!

We’ve had the builders in! As we continue our drive to expand and become one of the leading print resources in Northern Ireland, it became necessary for us to create some more space for the new equipment that’s on it’s way to us! Previously used mostly for storage, this part of our building has had new flooring, walls, lighting and a ceiling fitted to create another 1000 square feet of production space. More space, more machines, more – and quicker – printing! We’ve also extended our brilliant new Tarkett Homogeneous poly floor covering into the new production area, so that all of our print hall has the same easily cleaned, static-free and sleek floor, making it so much easier to keep all of our print and production processes flawless. Check back to see what exciting new machines we’re going to be working with soon!

Our carpeting has already been replaced with a stunning Tarkett Homogenous poly floor covering throughout the whole of the print hall, creating a sleek and static-free environment for all of our printing and finishing processes – but that’s not all!
We are always looking to the future here at Ballyprint and seeking new ways to provide the very best print solutions for our customers. New solutions need new equipment and new equipment needs more space! So along with our brilliant flooring we’re transforming a storage area into more production space, with new walls and a ceiling to bring an underused space right into the heart of our buzzing workspace.
Our thanks go to Smallcost Carpets for supplying our new flooring, Stefan Calderwood for an amazing fitting job, and to Dean Calderwood Joinery for turning bare walls into a useable space!

10 years of Ballyprint!

10 years of Ballyprint!

Ten years ago today Ballyprint were featured in this article in the local paper. Managing director Aaron Klewchuk commented, “I’d no idea where this journey was going to take me and certainly could never have imagined Ballyprint would be where it is today!”

As with most startup companies, the early years involved a lot of hard work and late hours, but by providing a quality service to customers, Ballyprint went from strength to strength. The team has grown, and the company has moved premises as continued investment in new print technology called for more room to manoeuvre.

A decade on from commencing to trade, Ballyprint operates from spacious premises in a prime site on Pennybridge Industrial Estate in Ballymena, and continues to invest in technology that will provide the very best options and services to a growing customer base.

With the recent arrival of the massively impressive Xerox Iridesse digital press, Ballyprint is moving beyond traditional print to provide stunning metallic finishes and white text in addition to the normal four colour print. This fabulous new machine joins an impressive roster of equipment that is guaranteed to continue growing in the months and years to come.

Check out ‘Our Story’ in our ‘About Us’ section to see a timeline of Ballyprint’s growth and development, and our ‘Equipment’ page for more information on the machines we operate, and what products they can produce for you and your business.
